Analysis of the Appearance Technology of Electronic Cigarette Products

In recent years, electronic cigarettes have become the darling of major venture capital investments. However, how much do you know about the appearance design and production process of electronic cigarettes? Whether it's household appliances, electronic products, mobile phones or electronic cigarettes, their appearance and body production processes generally require multiple processes to form exquisite appearances. Take a typical flat cigarette as an example. For example, well-crafted products on the market such as FANWELL SP300 are made of aluminum alloy body integral molding technology, which undergoes surface treatments such as anodization and sandblasting. In addition to aluminum alloy, electronic cigarettes also come in materials such as stainless steel, zinc alloys, plastic materials, glass, ceramics, and more. Here we will take a look at the surface treatments that these electronic cigarette materials generally undergo during processing to achieve exquisite appearances.

1: Polishing.

Polishing refers to the use of mechanical, chemical, or electrochemical methods to reduce the surface roughness of a workpiece to obtain a bright, smooth surface. The processing method uses polishing tools and abrasive particles or other polishing media to modify the surface of the workpiece.

2: Sandblasting.

Sandblasting is the process of using the impact of high-speed sand to clean and roughen the surface of the substrate. Compressed air is used as the power source to form a high-speed jet stream to spray the sandblasting material onto the surface of the workpiece that needs to be processed, causing the shape or surface of the workpiece's outer surface to change. Due to the impact and cutting action of abrasives on the surface of the workpiece, the surface of the workpiece obtains a certain degree of cleanliness and different levels of roughness, improves the mechanical properties of the workpiece's surface, enhances the fatigue resistance of the workpiece, increases adhesion between it and the coating, lengthens the durability of the coating, and is conducive to the fluidity and decoration of the coating.

3、 Radium carving.

Laser engraving processing is based on CNC technology, with laser as the processing medium. The instantaneous melting and gasification of processed materials under laser engraving irradiation can enable laser engraving to achieve the purpose of processing. Laser engraving is the use of laser technology to engrave words on objects. The words produced by this technology are not scored, the surface of the object is still smooth, and the handwriting will not wear out. Electronic Cigarette Structure Design Company

4. Spray.

Spraying is a coating method that uses a spray gun or disc atomizer, with the help of pressure or centrifugal force, to disperse into uniform and fine droplets and apply them to the surface of the coated object. It can be divided into air spraying, airless spraying, electrostatic spraying, and various derivative methods of the basic spraying forms mentioned above, such as high flow and low pressure atomization spraying, thermal spraying, automatic spraying, multi group spraying, etc.

5、 Anodic oxidation.

Electrochemical oxidation of metals or alloys. The process of forming an oxide film on aluminum and its alloys under corresponding electrolytes and specific process conditions under the action of external current. Anodizing, unless otherwise specified, usually refers to sulfuric acid anodizing.

6、 Metal wire drawing.

Metal wire drawing is a manufacturing process that repeatedly uses sandpaper to scrape aluminum plates into lines. The main process is divided into three parts: ester removal, sand grinding, and water washing. In the wire drawing process, a special skin film technology is used after anodizing to generate a skin film layer containing the metal component on the metal surface, clearly showing each fine wire mark, thereby emitting a fine hair luster in the metal matte. In recent years, an increasing number of products have used metal wire drawing technology for their metal shells, in order to achieve aesthetics and corrosion resistance.
